Peas Kitchen is a catering and training service company, It is owned by a passionate individual who brings her experience, professional training mixed with her own individual style to the table. Peas Kitchen thrives on a challenge and insists on perfection. The business was founded in 2015 by Pea Maphiwa.
We were hired to develop a website that would enhance the Peas Kitchen digital brand image. The company had no existing website, and the aim was to make this website attractive, responsive, foody, and showcase the products in a clean and easily navigable way. In addition to user experience and user interface, it was meant to generate quality leads looking into catering services.
When doing branding, colours play a huge role. Since Peas Kitchen is a catering company run by a talented chef, the colours had to be happy and welcoming, hence the usage of pink and white. The messaging on the homepage sliders also play a huge role in branding, they have to explain what the business does within a few words.
We made the slider opening message a welcome message, followed by a key value proposition sentence. Beneath the slider, we immediately put a call to action horizontal contact us form to convert whoever is blown away by the sliders instantly.
The Peas Kitchen brand was already known on social media because of its impeccable work. Now all the users that view the products on social media are able to click through from a single social media post to a whole range of pictures on the website to see more. The website is receiving a huge influx of views coming through from social media.
